2 - 3 whole green cardamom pods
1 cup water
black tea (optional)
a touch of sugar or honey (optional)

how to make it

      1. lightly crush the cardamom pods to release their aroma.
      2. bring water to a gentle simmer.
      3. add the crushed pods; let them steep for 3–4 minutes.
      4. add black tea only if you want depth. steep briefly.
      5. strain and serve warm.
